max and i spent thursday morning at lincoln park zoo. we spent most of our time looking at the monkeys, gorillas, and big cats -- all of which seemed to be energized by the cool fall weather.
by far, the highlight was this puma, which was actively hunting the birds and squirrels outside of his cage. here he sprung to the top of his cage (probably 12' - 15') and hung there for a minute, all right in front of us. max still hasn't stopped talking about it.
